Copyright protection extends to all original works created for and by Simplicity, including but not limited to:

  • The Simplicity mobile application software and source code
  • The Simplicity name, branding, and logo designs

  • Website content, marketing materials, and documentation
  • App store descriptions, screenshots, and promotional materials
  • Any other creative works produced by Simplicity

Intellectual Property Rights

Trademarks

The Simplicity name and logo are trademarks of Simplicity. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission from Simplicity.

Patents

Certain features and functionality within the Simplicity app may be protected by patent rights, whether pending or granted.

Trade Secrets

The Simplicity application contains proprietary algorithms, processes, and methodologies that constitute trade secrets and confidential information.

Usage Rights & Restrictions

What You Can Do

When you download and use the Simplicity app, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use the app on your personal devices
  • Access and use the app's features for personal productivity purposes
  • Share your experience with the app on social media and reviews

What You Cannot Do

You may not, without prior written permission from Simplicity:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app or its content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Distribute, sell, lease, rent, or sublicense the app
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Use the app's name, logo, or branding for commercial purposes
  • Extract or harvest any data from the application
  • Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Open Source Components

Simplicity is built using various open source libraries and frameworks. While the Simplicity application itself is proprietary, we acknowledge and respect the licenses of the open source components we use:

  • React Native (MIT License)
  • Expo (MIT License)
  • SQLite (Public Domain)
  • Zustand (MIT License)
  • date-fns (MIT License)

Copyright Infringement

Simplicity respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us with the following information:
