Simplicity
We're on a mission to help people focus on what truly matters by cutting through the noise of modern productivity tools
Simplicity was born from a simple observation: traditional todo apps make us less productive, not more. We kept adding tasks, creating lists, organizing categories, and color-coding priorities—but we weren't actually getting things done.
The problem wasn't that we needed more features. The problem was that we had too many options, too many tasks, and too much flexibility. Every todo app promised to help us "capture everything," but what we really needed was a tool that helped us focus on doing one thing at a time.
"Less is more. By limiting what you can do, we help you focus on what you should do."
So we built Simplicity—a todo app with intentional constraints. Maximum 2 tasks. Automatic 6-hour deadlines. No endless backlog. No distant-future planning. Just focus on today, right now.
We believe that limitations aren't bugs—they're features. When you can only have 2 tasks at a time, you're forced to prioritize. When deadlines are automatic, you can't procrastinate. These constraints create clarity.
Most productivity apps let you spend hours organizing your tasks without actually completing any of them. Simplicity pushes you to do things now instead of planning for someday.
We designed Simplicity specifically for people with ADHD, focus challenges, and decision fatigue. Our constraints reduce cognitive load and prevent the overwhelm that comes with traditional todo lists.
Your tasks stay on your device. We don't collect your data, read your tasks, or sell your information. What you do with Simplicity is your business, not ours.
Unlike other productivity apps, we:
Simplicity is built by a small team of developers and designers who believe that productivity tools should reduce stress, not create it. We're people who have struggled with ADHD, procrastination, and the anxiety of endless todo lists—and we built the tool we wished existed.
We're constantly working to improve Simplicity while staying true to our minimalist philosophy. Here's what's coming:
But we'll never add features that compromise our core philosophy: simplicity, focus, and constraint-based productivity.
Join thousands of people who have ditched their endless todo lists and started actually getting things done.
